First children's education camp to launch in July

FAIRLAWN, OH (June 6, 2013 ) — Sunny Day Publishing, LLC, in collaboration with community health/public health students and other health practitioners, is launching Northeast Ohio’s first health education camp, Sunny Day Summer Camps ™.

Two separate weeks of pilot camps will be offered during the weeks of July 8 – 12 and July 22 – 26. The camps will run from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday at Spring Garden Waldorf School (1791 Jacoby Rd., Copley, OH 44321).

Sunny Day Summer Camps ™ curriculum is fun, health-based and educational for children age seven to nine. The camp’s goal is for the children to gain a greater awareness about the things that impact their health and well-being (our ability to manage and deal with our emotions, our ability to act in mindful ways towards ourselves and others, our ability to collaborate with others in a peaceful manner, etc.), it is essential to equip our children with these skills.

Sunny Day Publishing, LLC, is a producer, partner publisher and health education company specializing in the creation of books and programs that promote health from the inside-out. Sunny Day Summer Camps is Sunny Day’s premiere community health promotion initiative.
