Fairlawn Independence Day Parade begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday

The annual Independence Day parade, sponsored by the Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce, will step off at 6:30 p.m. July 4 at the Fairlawn Town Center and proceeds west to the Dillard’s parking lot at Summit Mall.
The American Judges Association will be awarding winners in the categories of floats, novelty, marching units and bands with trophies. Mayor Bill Roth will host an award ceremony in the Dillard’s parking lot after the parade.
